Join us in welcoming ScholarMatch’s largest cohort of scholars yet!
We are thrilled to introduce our largest cohort yet of 112 scholars hailing from all across the nation!
These scholars participated in our Destined for College program and were selected to receive a four-year scholarship. As they advance into our Scholars Program, they will be paired with a college advisor and career mentor who will provide them with robust guidance throughout their college journey.
Our scholars will also have access to multiple resources designed to reduce barriers to graduation, including holistic academic advising, college navigation support, internship preparation, a diverse career community, and flexible scholarships to help cover tuition and other college-related expenses.
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming these inspiring young people at our Welcome to the Family virtual ceremony, where they met their college advisors and had the chance to start building community with ScholarMatch staff and their peers.
This fourfold increase in scholarship seats was a result of joint efforts with like-minded partners like The Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation, Local 2/Hospitality Child & Elder Care Plan, and the Leung Siu-Chun Memorial Scholarship Fund, who understand the unique barriers first-generation college students face on their road to graduation and beyond.
The generosity and visionary approach of these incredible partners are making a difference for underserved students and driving change in the higher education landscape. At ScholarMatch, we’re excited to witness these amazing students lead the way to reach their full potential and make a lasting impact on our society.
